Jesuit priest states child abuse is NOT "a gay problem"

He is not the first or only in the Catholic church to say that the issue has nothing to do with being gay, but he is one of the more recent who has been picked up by the media, even if it is only NPR.

Moderator: "You didn't like it when, um I guess over the past week or ten days Church officials have characterized homosexuality as being at the root of priestly abuse."

Martin: "Yeah I don't think that makes any sense. Being gay does not make you a pedophile, first of all."
