A thoroughly random post
This one is thoroughly random, what can I say?
A. U.S. Burn Notice fans, set your DVRs for tomorrow night! Burn Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe airs Sunday April 17th at 9/8c on USA. Backstory on Sam, directed by Jeffrey Donovan who plays Michael.
B. Dragon and I'll be out of touch next week, off driving the Blue Ridge Parkway because next Weds, we'll have been married 20 years. (Damn. Time flies when you're having fun!)
C. Diane Duane is offering 25% off her ebooks this weekend; details here if you're interested.
D. I had a hot stone massage yesterday, or, more accurately, a hot and cold stone massage. It feels like it has seriously stomped on my latest fibro flare-up. (Which tells y'all why I've been quiet lately; my shoulder blade hurt when Dragon hugged me, damn it. Bones are not supposed to hurt like that when they're in one piece!) But I'm standing straighter, my shoulders are down, and I slept amazingly well last night. That did me a world of good, and I mention it for the rest of y'all who have inflammatory disorders.
E. (I said this was random!) I have no idea what's gotten into me, but I've been gardening. Took out some thoroughly ugly and badly placed shrubs and put in salvia, petunias, wave petunias, marigolds, and snap dragons, and put in azaleas in another flower bed besides. I may come back after our trip and put more azaleas and some roses down the west side of the house.
F. Now that I have the email back with an explanation... even if Amazon doesn't charge sales tax on shipping to your state, you may find sales tax added to your ebook orders. Some of the ebooks are being sold by Amazon on the publishers' behalf and those publishers may be charging sales tax.
I hope everyone else is doing well, and don't be surprised if I'm gone from Monday through Saturday.
