Look at all the dust...
Seems I never think to post anymore...or maybe it is feeling...Not really sure there. Hope anyone out there reading this is doing well and you know I think of you and pray God smiles on you.
Where have I been you ask? Oh that's easy...for most of the first 6 months I was in a vast well called WoW. Sucked me in deep and hard. Around the middle of June I got a little burnout going on and had really limited my playing time, had some help with that too...As I last posted I have been running on my onboard graphics chipset, well seems there is a problem between certain nvidia cards and chipsets and WoW that causes random reboots. And they seem to be getting worse and worse, but only when I play WoW or warcraft3. So WoW has been almost totally off limits except for mail checks. Nothing else seems to cause this problem so I am not sure what to do but buy a new video card, but that has to wait some more.
Had dived into a program I recently checked out called Anim8or...Pretty impressive little program, used to do 3d graphics (and free to boot!) Even reinstalled visual studio again and have been doing some minor programming. Not much else I could bo, it has been hotter then heck outside. Feel like I am going to faint everytime I go outside with the pups.
Though you may recall around June of last year our a/c unit died, we sweated for a few days but were finally able to get the money to buy a new unit, well...just a couple of weeks ago the new one died...yep. Couldn't find the warranty information so we were going to be responsible for the service call, part(s) and labor. All things considered we decided to borrow the money and buy another one. And it's been working its butt off this week for sure. But doing a pretty good job, wish we had been able to get the electrical redone here so we could have another one in this room, would really make it a lot better, that afternoon sun is murder.
Was doing a year in review of my posts today...*laugh* Didnt' even take 20 minutes to do! Found my post about Rascal Flatts and that reminded me of that song I so wanted. Jumped on itunes, great they have it, start to buy and then thought wait...better listen first. Boy am I glad I did! It was not the song I heard that night on the AMA show. I think whoever posted the info posted either the wrong song title or were given the wrong one. Listened to the quick samples of the entire Me and My Gang album and none of the songs sounded like the song I heard. So either the song never got released or I just totally forgot what it sounded like. Oh well.
Last night I went to check out the website for my old ship! www.midway.org Didn't realize it had been that long since I was there either, more about the crew message board then the website itself. Found they have some more areas open for tours and it makes me want to get out there more then ever. Found it had been about 9 months since I had checked the message board, saw another person from my division made it to the website and posted, also found out one of our chiefs had passed away a few years ago, he was a good guy.
