My infrequent posts are not much to read but they will get a lot more infrequent it seems. I am currently using the wife's computer, mine is down and will likely remain there for some time. At minimum it needs a new motherboard, maybe cpu, who knows I sure don't, just to get back to where I was. I will never buy a manufacture's computer every again. I am leaning towards the motherboard only because it is the cheapest thing to replace of the 2, but according to the bios the cpu was running at 103c from a cold start to at least 124c which is about 2x the normal and certainly lights out. So either the sensor for the cpu temp is on the motherboard and fried or its in the cpu and its fried or the cpu in general is fried. Anyway to anyone reading who cares I won't be around much, but I will try to stop in periodically to at least catch up on how your doing. Be well all!
