Last weekend (read last weekend of Feb.) was a...bummer. Though a big part of that bummer I didn't find out about until this past Friday (
Goodbye dear Friend, you made me laugh when I was so young)
The main bummer of that weekend was yet ANOTHER HD crash, a HD with barely 6 months of life on it. And the 2nd time I ran Defrag on a hard drive and it killed the HD...the first time was the reason I bought this one 7 months ago...So my computer was down for a number of days...trying to breathe life back into it. Then Tuesday the wife's graphics card dies...so I took out mine and installed it into her computer. Late that night I finally gave up on the HD and the old one, they were not going to work again. I also made another decision, I decided to risk my other 60gig hard drive I was using for data storage (or rather I was going risk the data on it) and try to install my system on it. I had tried it before 7 months ago and it wouldn't accept the install cd's, but for some reason this time it did and I had the system sorta back...had to hook up the onboard graphics chipset so I could see what I was doing. But it is back up and I am able to surf and play wow with it, so I guess all is well. At least til I can get another graphics card and another HD.
Hope everyone else is having a really good one, and once again Happy Birthday to
