MUSIC: Anything australian. (Midnight Oil ATM)
what a weekend so far! Aussie day was ok, not spectaulacular. Helped out with catering. Pauly did a great job as team leader, but still needs to learn some of the finer points of team leading ie: telling other people what to do. He does the same as me and wan'ts to get involved. Good job though. Very Good.
Then off to southbank, fed the troops and then when we finished went back to clean up, but had to go out and help a group witht the lighting bank.
Cue- Live : The Dam at Otter Creek.
We were originally going to help set up the lighting and bugger offf, but had to fix the controls to raise/lower the lights while we waited for QPS Dive Squad. Got it going, and heard the full story about what hapened. A 17yo jumped into a watering hole, surfaced and then dissapeared. Friedns couldn't find him and then called police. When the dive squad got there, we decided to hang around to help. Around 30mins into the search, the kid was found. We helped retrieve him from the water hole.
I have to agree with HouseofDog here, why do people do stupid things like that, when there are signs posted for that reason.
Rule books and warning signs are made from other peoples blood.

Mel and I went to my work mates 25th tonight. It was pretty good, had a hungi for tea, (not cooked by kiwi's, but still pretty good) There were some cool cars there as well as a few harleys, and lots of people. Had a pretty good time, but feeling a bit seedy after the burbons and all the tyre smoke from the Hilux, Harley, and quad bike burn outs!
Music: Gino Vanelli: Wild Horses
I've been listening to this song for the last few days. It take me back to being in grade 9, and the feeling of being in love. Long time since i have felt that. There are a couple of people who i feel about that out there, one knows that, but doen't seem to care, and the other doesnt know. Bit hard to keep my feeling like that in, but do, as i am scared of rejection, like most guys. So i just keep it in, and keep living.
As for work, work is good. Am enjoying it, but this heat is a killer. Donnas birthday is on monday, so she want me to go and see her tomorrow, but another friend wants me to go to the movies with her, so i might do that.
Anyway, time for bed.
