Good weekend
Woot, garik37 got the wireless intarwebs up and running, and I got my computer set up at my desk! Squee! Now I'll be able to actually check things and not just glance at them on my phone, lol.
Went to the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens today with whitetigergeek to see their Japanese festival thingy. Man, that place is beautiful. I want to go back there the next time I'm out of sorts, and just wander through the Japanese garden. Maybe sit on a rock and watch the koi and turtles swimming by. And everything is vibrant green, after all the rain we've had. Truly beautiful.
Right, FOOD! We're going to make up for my missed birthday dinner tonight (Garik came down with strep, poor thing, but he's all better now, thanks to the Amazing Dr. Cahan and her prescription-writin' skills). After walking around at the gardens all afternoon, I could order the left side of the menu.
