Review 2: Fortix

At time of writing I am the 10th best Fortix player in the world. Which of course is as significant as being the 10th best anything in the world, however, I will take what I can get.
Fortix is a basic snake style puzzler where you have to cut off certain portions of the map to take over the forts or capture dragons etc. It requires a decent amount of skill and reflexes to master this and whilst you can play ‘cheap’ by doing hundreds of tiny little cuts rather than trying to outrun dragons and cannon balls it then just becomes a patience game rather than fun.
From this simple system you will be sucked into hours of repetitive play forever cursing that cannon ball which fires just a bit too quickly or your finger slipping from the right key.
For the $5 this will set you back it is a worthwhile addition to any collection of indie games.
