Jean sighed, staring at the paper on her desk. The letter she had just recieved from Tara. She had gone back to California. LA to be specific. And she was back with her Willow again. Happy. At least someone was. She smiled slightly. Even with as much as she had on her mind, Tara had that effect. No one in the world was as kind, gentle or giving. In the past few months, Tara had dropped everything, come to New York, suffered through insults and backhands, cast a spell that gave Jean her sanity back, and asked nothing in return. No one had done anything that kind for Jean in a long time.
With a soft smile, she picked up the phone and dialed a number from the phone book. When a young boy answered she put in her order for a dozen yellow roses to be sent to the couple's address in California. It was the least she could do, and she knew the delicate blooms would bring a smile to the younger woman's face. And if reading the words in the delicate slanted handwritting caused Jean to have a slight pang, then she ignored it.
