Sunny today. Our high was 79F.

I was up about 6:30 a.m. and back to work on The Ultraviolet Alphabet and managed letters O through P. Looming end of American democracy or not. I spent more time trying to solve the plot problems with The Night Watchers. More time on the Bashi Marl.

The cool stuff first: My agent and I closed a two-novel deal today, and I will post details when I've signed the contracts and the publisher says I may make an announcement.
