"That's my name."

Helene is almost upon us. We actually had a decent bit of sun, beginning in the last morning, lasting into the afternoon. And then the outermost bands began to arrive. There was an eerie stillness for awhile, and then as sunset began turning the clouds yellow-green, hints of the wind to come. I do not know if I will sleep tonight, and I hope everyone eho is truly in the path of the monster has had the chance to move out of its way. Our high today was 79F, with a heat index of 81F.

I spent several more hours today on the chapbook/novella, and I took care of almost all of the edits that needed tending. The net word count has gone from 17,107 words to 17,148 words.

We finished Season One of Guy Ritche's The Gentlemen this evening. Brilliant. The day's movie was George Miller's Fury Road (2015). I leave you with Helene, as she looked this morning.
