"I'm gonna make some weird shit."

Warmer today. Sunny. Our high was 73F. I should have gone outside.

A productive day. Mostly work on Bright Dead Star, including proofing the story notes and considering the problem of an afterword. Two afterwards, actually. One would be the piece I wrote for Nan Goldin, as I mentioned. I read it today for the first time since I wrote it in early 2022, and it's powerful stuff. It caught me off guard and kept coming back and hitting me for hours. Yes, it's that personal. So, now I'm on the fence about using it, but I want to make a final decision by tomorrow. Oh, turns out your can buy Goldin's The Will Not End Well, which includes the piece I wrote, at Amazon.com. I don't have a copy.

What else? Email with Merrilee and Rebecca at Writers House and with Ellen Datlow. Stuff.

It's good to be getting work done again. Also, my weight is up to about 169lbs, the best it's been in a couple of years.

The afternoon's movie was James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017).

The GoFundMe to keep the rent paid and the lights on while I play catch up on all the writing, that's going well. We're only a few hundred dollars from having April covered. Please give something if you can. Thank you.

All for now.

Later Tater Beans,
Aunt Beast
