A sunny, early spring day. Our high was 76F.
And I went Outside for the first time in a week, even if it was only a short walk (photo below).
This was not the very prpductive day I'd hoped for, but it also wasn't an utter loss. I decided to remove the two afterwords from Bright Dead Star. Unfortunately, I'm now dithering about the introduction, which I liked perfectly well when I wrote it, but which I am beginning to find annoying. I have got to stop futzing around with this ms. There is too much writing to be done for all this indecision. I sent an updated biography to Ellen Datlow. I spoke with Nicky Crowther by email and learned that the PS Publishing/Dimestore Indian Press trade-paperback editions of Dear Sweet Filthy World, The Dinosaur Tourist, and Vile Affections
are now available for purchase (and very affordable). More email with my lit agents.
The afternoon's movie was James Cameron's Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). And I finished reading Peter Watts' βehemoth: β-Max.
