Very hot again today. There was thunder some time after lunch and, like yesterday, Birmingham, over the mountain from us, got a heavy storm. But not us. The high so far is 93F, with a heat index of 99F. Our heat advisory has been extended through Sunday.
Tuesday was the cover reveal for the new edition of the French translation of The Drowning Girl - La Fille qui se noie - from the book's new French publisher, Albin Michel Imaginaire. The original edition of La Fille qui se noie was released in 2014 by Panini Books. It is hard to believe it's been almost a decade. The new edition will be out October 11th. I said on Tuesday that I'd feature the cover here soon, so you will find it below. The artist is
d'Aurélien Police, who also did the cover for the French editon of Agents of Dreamland, or Des Agents du Dreamland.
The day's film was George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road (2015).
I just realized that I'm wearing the same t-shirt I wore yesterday. I try not to do that.
