Very hot today. Our high was 95F, and the heat index reached 100F. We have a heat advisory for tomorrow. Currently, I hear thunder, and there's wind, but see no rain on the doppler.
One of my (numerous) objections to the notion that Earth is being visited by extraterrestrial (or extradimensional, whatever) beings is that it posits a species smart enough to cross intersteller distances, but not smart enough to avoid frequently crashing into planets.

One person recently, goaded into desperation by the litany of unrelieved negation, burst out "Don't you believe in anything?"

I'll believe anything, no matter how wild and ridiculous, if there is evidence for it.
