Bright and sunny today. Our high was 87F, with a heat index of 90F.

I was up at 5 a.m. I did another polish on "Black Water (Murder Ballad No. 14), and then I spent the next couple of hours getting Sirenia Digest 207 ready for subscribers. It went out early this afternoon. I hope to start a story for No. 108 in the morning. After the digest, I took a break and read another another article from JVP, "Iguanian lizards (Acrodonta and Pleurodonta) from the earliest Eocene (MP 7) of Dormaal, Belgium: the first stages of these iconic reptiles in Europe."

Then I had two different contracts to deal with, and when that was done I had to take care of the forms that have to be filed through my agents at Writers House proving to the EU that I am a US citizen, so I don't get taxed twice on foreign editions. So, it was a busy day, and now I am exhausted and sleepy. I envy people who can take naps.

Oh, and I signed a copy of one or another of the two Dancy short story collections that had been purchased from the Dreaming Squid Sundries shop. You should go buy something of the sort for yourself. Yes, I sign and personalize the books.

Later,
Aunt Beast (still and all)
