Some sun, some clouds today. Our high was 88F, with a heat index of 90F.
And nothing much to be said for the day. I sorta have an idea for another story, but I didn't get it started. And there's something I need to put together for Bill at SubPress, but I didn't really make any progress on that, either. Tomorrow, I promise. It did not help that I managed to sleep until 6:30 a.m. this morning.
I did read more of Deathbird Stories:
* "Delusion for a Dragon Slayer"
* "Shattered Like a Glass Goblin"
* "Pretty Maggie Moneyeyes"
"Shattered Like a Glass Goblin" is one of my favorite short stories by anyone, ever. In the new JVP, I read "A new pachycephalosaurid from the Hell Creek Formation, Garfield County, Montana, U.S.A."
