Cooler today, as expected. But sunny, as expected. Our high was only 48˚F, and it is currently 47˚F (43˚F, with the windchill). I'm thinking autumn is pretty much over.
All in all, not much I can say about today. But I was up at 7:30 a.m. and watched the sunrise over Shades Mountain (photo below).
The afternoon's movie was Rob Bowman's Reign of Fire (2002). I love this film, but haven't seen it lately because my DVD developed some weird glitch. I broke down and rented it today. I would go so far as to say that Reign of Fire is an overlooked and underappreciated gem. Plus, there's the inexplicably buff Matthew McConaughey. But the stars of the show are the dragons, designed by the brilliant Bernie Wrightson, and I contend these are the most terrifying and awe-inspiring dragons ever committed to film. So, if you have never seen Reign of Fire, remedy that.
Dinner was leftover Gobbler Cobbler, natch.
Nothing up on eBay today. Check back tomorrow. Spooky tells me there's some cool stuff coming soon.
Later Tater Beans,
