The Calm before the journey
Tonight Iron Maiden are playing in Auckland. I'm not there cos the available seats left were shit. So I know this was my last chance to see them again, but a quiet night in is probably preferable. White Island is restless (level 2) with flight zone raised to Orange. Apparently crater lake on Ruapehu is also raised in temp very quickly over last few weeks. Another cough could be coming. As soon as I turn my back...
So a few days up north enjoying the beautiful beach and watching the birds fish is a good calm before the stresses of migration. Most tasks are done, just gotta remember the remaining ones and make sure everything gets back into storage and as little as possible gets transported.
Looking forward to fresh Watermelon juice; Singapore night time humidity and Sheppy's Vintage cider and a Wrestle at the other side :)
