Wow. It has been a hot minute since I was back here. 12 Years worth. Dang. Curious to see who's still around. Since I was last here I got my degree in history, had all my kids graduate & move on, became a widower, survived a pandemic, lost a few dogs... but otherwise I'm still kicking.
Anyone else still round? Or has this too become like a beach ( Read more... ) -
Is anyone still doing Live Journal?
It's a serious question. If anyone's still out there, let me know. I might be motivated to start up with this again (at least until I get around to updating my website with Wordpress or whatever).

I'm on Vacation, as of now. Which is good, given I was up all night getting the last of my homework done (there's something wrong with the world when you find essay writing the fun part of the evening). Crazy crazy players...
Just finished up game a little while ago. It was nice to be back to it, given it was on hold for various reasons over the last month. It was one of those wacky sessions where the gang was contentious and half the party seemed ready to knife the other half of the party in the back. Still here
Yep, haven't disappeared yet. It's been a while since I posted and I feel I should amend that, but really, I just hadn't been wanting to talk. Last September I both turned 40, and lost my good friend and favorite cousin David - both on the same day. I actually got enough sleep, I think - though the allergy meds helped (they make me very sleepy). I had several dreams - at least three cohesive storylines (which is always good), though now I can only recall one. We had for some reason dissembled Greyhaven and re-assembled it in the African plains, or maybe South Africa (there was a beach some ( Read more... ) -
Dog bites face and other news
Oreo bit me in the face yesterday. To be fair, it was my own fault. Oreo is one of the two small dogs I'm watching for my dad while he and my mom are off in Greece for a month (they're all doing fine by the way - they should be in Athens now and back in the states by the end of the week).
