I think I need more playtime this weekend
The times I schedule some activities with Bev are not the optimum times. But it's due to the weekends I stay at her house. Like yesterday it was "clean out the basement time". Oh, by the way, it was 90 degrees.
When it's sunny and 90 degrees outside I'd rather be doing a whole lot of other things besides spending my time in a basement. Like hanging around the lake or something like that. But the basement needed cleaned. And it's less than half finished. Ugh!
At least the evening was much better. It was a cookout at her brother's place. And the nice thing is her brother always makes sure that what I eat is onion free... without me ever having to say a word.
And of course we dined on more excellent sweet corn. I'm really gonna miss it in about a month. One of the things I hate the most about winter is the lack of "fresh veggies". The stuff where you can still taste the sugar compounds before they've converted into starches. I have about ½ dozen leftover ears to take home with me...
