Someone brought up The 60s Avengers tv show. And after talking about it I figured I'd see if the library has any of them. Surprise! They've got quite a few. Most of the Emma Peel and Some of the Tara King. Unfortunately none of the Honor Blackman. So I ordered up a few and began watching.
Even though it's horribly dated and the special effects are only slightly higher than the BBC ones they still are fun to watch. The plot holes run rampant but watching Steed and Mrs Peel make you forget of that.
And one of the nice things about a show like that is you can start in the middle and bounce around from season to season and it doesn't matter cause it's so totally episodic.
So The Avengers are my currently TV obsession and now I remember why we all loved Diana Rigg...
