***GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT***
So, yesterday I sent Nikki a text and a few hours later she responded. We started texting back and forth then a little while later I got a random "I love you" text, followed by a random "I miss you" text. Since then things have been great. I woke up this morning to a "Good morning baby, I love you." text. I haven't gotten those in months. It was a great way to wake up and it put a smile on my face. Today is going to be a great day, I can feel it. This just goes to show you that sometimes things ARE worth the wait, and if you don't give up good things can happen. I know what's best for me. Enough said.
My baby starts kindergarten on Monday. I don't know how moms do it all the time. I want to take him to his first day of school SO bad. I want to be able to say "Yeah, I did that!" and check it off my mommy to-do list, but I know that if I take him and drop him off he'll freak. Any time I have to drop him off somewhere he makes me stay and I end up having to sneak out when he's not looking. I don't want to ruin his first day of school. I don't know what I'm going to do yet.
