I can't even begin to explain the depths of love I have for tonight's Supernatural episode.
It's jut...everything I wanted in a western episode.

The SPN fan in me is happy.
The Bonanza fan in me is happy.
The Clint Eastwood fan in me is happy.
The Back to the Future fan in me is happy.
The western fan in me is fucking ecstatic.

It was fantastic.

I would like to point out that at this moment in time 3:10 To Yuma is tops at the box office.
I know that a good deal of that is due to Christian Bale and Russell Crowe, and not that there's a load of young people out there who appreciate westerns, but it still makes me happy. And who knows, maybe this will lead them down the path to darkness more ( Read more... )

Jessie got an opportunity to review 3:10 to Yuma so we went to see that earlier this evening. It was an absolute pleasure to see a real, well-made western on the big screen. Christian Bale was doing his excellence thing, per usual. And I have to say, I definitely prefer Russell Crowe in westerns than anything else I've seen him in. Very, very good ( Read more... )
