HOLY CRAP. I was so looking forward to this and ... where do I start?
>> Oh. My. God. Amy Ryan playing Holly, the female Michael. Ha!
>> Kevin as the 'mentally challenged' employee. Actually, OK. That was my favorite storyline of the episode. Really, that just played out SO WELL. Holly counting the change into Kevin's hand. Kevin driving his own car -- HAHAHA. Just ... everything. WIN.
>> RYAN GETTING ARRESTED FOR FRAUD. Yeah, it sounds like Oscar turned him in, right? And the video ending up on YouTube. Please tell me that this video really exists on YouTube. I bet it does.
>> Phyllis taking over the party-planning committee and calling in the help of Bob Vance. Bob Vance saves the day. AGAIN. Bob Vance. Hero.
>> Jan pregnant. Yes, I totally saw that one coming. Thank GOD it's not Michael's. Honestly, I really, really don't want him to be having babies with her. I mean, I think this storyline has the potential to be funny but it can also go down the crazy road. I mean, can you guys imagine Crazy!Jan as a mom? Yikes. I don't know. I'm curious to see where this goes next season. Also, where is Jan living? Is she still in the Scranton area? What is she doing? I have so many questions.
>> Jim's phone prank on Dwight. Ah, how I've missed the pranks. The part where Pam calls Dwight's phone was particularly brilliant. Hee.
>> Jim telling Ryan off via voice mail. Honestly, I have to say, I'm pretty proud of Jim. He's actually working his tail off to get his job done and he's only been stepped on by Ryan, so.
Something tells me Ryan isn't coming back to work for Dunder-Mifflin. But we know he'll turn up somehow. This should be an interesting S5 cameo.
>> Andy proposing to Angela. Angela saying "okay" --? Um. WHY? I'm not sure I got that. I mean, I somehow doubt it was because Andy's parents were there. Is she really that spiteful? (It seems so.)
>> Also, can I say how glad I am that the infidelity rumor had to do with ANGELA & DWIGHT >>> OMG, THEY WERE DOING IT IN THE OFFICE AND PHYLLIS CAUGHT THEM YEA. This is so much win.
>> Sigh. OK. Finally, let's discuss. Jim and Pam.
First of all, Pam going to design school for three months. I guess we know how she's spending her summer vacation! I'm happy for her, but also happy that she's not going to permanently leave the office. But ... I wonder what it will mean for her next season. That she'll be vying for a better job? Maybe there will be hints that she might leave? I don't know. I want Pammy to be happy, but -- man.
And... the halted engagement! Oh, I totally thought Jim was going to drop that ring box! Then -- DAMN IT, ANDY. (I'm sure this is exactly what Jim was thinking.) Does this mean we're not going to see the actual engagement? Or is this totally going to turn into a
sophia_helix story and he'll wait till next season and it'll be all angsty and stuff because he'll have waited so long. Awwww MAN. I hate when you guys are right.
Seriously, I was freaking out. I'm kind of glad they didn't make it about Jim and Pam but at the same time now I'm totally wondering if he's ever going to propose and HOW.
And, Jim -- proposing at Toby's going-away party? Well. Maybe I'm kind of glad it didn't work out that way, because, honestly. You can do better than that.
Post note: Pam thinks Toby is "kind of cute"? Wow. Um. Hello, "The Fire." I didn't think you were serious, Pam, but apparently, you kind of ... were. Yikes. (Seriously, how is she so oblivious about Toby's awful, awful obsession with her?)
Also, please tell me that Holly is coming back next season because I really like her character!
Also, also -- please tell me this means Dwangela is BACK ON. WHEW. *fans self and barfs at the same time*
OK. I feel better now.
