Yea. I'm so proud of myself. Since Wes didn't come tonight, I stayed for the second yoga class today and I kicked ass! I did a couple positions I didn't think I could do -- wheel pose (with help), camel pose, and we did a headstand and I was able to hold it for a minute-and-half, which I think is good because inverted poses are supposed to help sinus problems. I feel really good!
I think tomorrow I am going to feel it, but if I can, I'm going to try to go on Saturday morning.
I told Wes that now that TV is ending, I'm going to really try and make the most out of the unlimited monthly package that we've got --- so I want to try and go 4-5 times a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays, we'll have to have the girl there watch Dex, but on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, we can do staggered schedules so that one of us will have the baby while the other is in class. If I can actually do this (and I think I can; I really enjoy going), this will be my ticket to more energy, and getting in better shape. I'm really hopeful about this.
Now, I just have to remember that I said this and see how this actually works, haha.
It's good, though. I said I wanted something to motivate me and I really feel like my efforts in class are starting to pay off a little. I am getting deeper into my downward dog pose, I can pretty much touch the ground in a forward bend, and it doesn't seem quite as overwhelming as it did in the first few classes. The more I do it, the easier it will become, and the more I'll be motivated to do more. So, yeah.
I'm feeling very positive right now.
I have to take a shower before bed, but yes! It was a good class(es). YEA.
PS: OMG OFFICE SEASON FINALE TOMORROW. I THINK I'M GOING TO CRY FROM HAPPY. I can't wait to find out what happens!!
