spending all your time somewhere inside your head

Why isn't the internet full of Tony Stark/Jack Harkness fic? And why when I search for Iron Man/Whoniverse fic was I only able to find one fic I hadn't already read? Internet you have let me down. Is there an Iron Man kink meme? There has to be right? That's got to be where all that stuff is hiding.

In other fannish news of the less disappointing sort I started watching Supernatural again. I'm way behind (next to watch: 5x18) and I was feeling largely uninterested until I saw a couple of posts by people who don't talk about SPN much anymore after the finale. That piqued my interest. And then I was bored and watched three eps in one night. Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid was alright. But I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Dark Side of the Moon and 99 Problems. I chalk that up to Ash and drunk!Castiel. Good times. I look forward to finding the time to see how it all ends now.

I'm still behind on Who (only one ep now though) and still enjoying it. Still really loving Matt Smith's Doctor. Still really loving Amy Pond. And constantly fascinated with the way Matt Smith somehow manages to make his Doctor feel older than DT's despite how young he looks.

What I've really been into lately is BBC nature documentaries. Watched all of Planet Earth and now I've moved on to Wild China. Beautiful images and great narration all around. Earth: A Biography on the other hand was not so good. I don't want to watch a documentary that tells me things I already know or that constantly recycles footage.

Oh, and I've been listening to lots of Doctor Who audiobooks while tackling the invasive weeds in the yard (I am slowly but surely vanquishing them, oh yes). Just finished The Story of Martha and thoroughly enjoyed it. Unlike most DW audiobooks which are basically episodes that happen in between what's aired (which is neat too) it takes place during Last of the Timelords and chronicles Martha's journey around the world during the the year that wasn't. It's basically the fic about Martha during that time that I've always wanted and read by Freema Agyeman.

ETA: I am totally in love with this icon.
