You know what I'd like to see? An Iron Man vid set to Tom Petty's Learning to Fly. It would be epic.
Also, seeing Iron Man 2 (which is made of awesome, btw. very much awesome) so close on the heels of watching Sherlock Holmes again has made me realize how similar Tony Stark and Sherlock Holmes are (and no, not just 'cause they're both played by RDJ, though I think the similarity shows why RDJ was so aptly cast for both roles). I mean, think about it. They're both snarky, emotionally stunted, super geniuses who have only one person who really understands them. I'm not sure why this thought makes me so happy, but it does.
PS: I did eventually make it back from Germany. Everyone should be so lucky as to have an extra nine days of vacation staying at a friends' house in a foreign city that they love. Best excuse for not being about to work ever.
