(no subject)
I am in Arizona hanging with the lovely raptorpants (though not actually right this second 'cause she's at work). It is lovely to be in a place where there is only snow on the 12,000 feet peaks and random north facing shadowy places. There are crocuses up in the gardens in M's neighborhood. T and I went for a nice easy 2 mile hike earlier that totally kicked our asses 'cause we are not at all adjusted to being at 7000 feet.
Our first night here (Sat.) M picked us up at the airport and we went straight to see our friends the Devil Makes Three play (they just happened to be playing a show the night we flew in. Serendipity). Then they spent the night at M's house too so we got to hang out with them and have lovely brunch Sunday morning. I really love those guys as people and as musicians. If any of you haven't heard them you should totally check them out right now.
Tomorrow we'll probably go to Sedona (where it will be 75 degrees) and then Wed. the Grand Canyon. And after that who knows, hot springs maybe. Ah, glorious vacation, it's so nice to not have anything that I have to get done for a whole week.
