I realized that this is one place that I haven't updated that folks might not also have me friended elsewhere like Facebook, and are as yet unaware. I've been diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma and have begun chemotherapy. It's too early to tell what stage this cancer is and if the chemo is having a desired effect. My best friend had been working along with his siblings (and a bit of help from me) to get his parent's house ready for sale. Today, it went on the market. I got a text message from him tonight saying that the sign is out front and everything. His parents bought the house new in 1960 or so, and it's been very well maintained throughout the years. I had a great time down in NC/TN with the MINIs, dragons and good friends, as did Jeff (who sadly didnt win the Chili Cookoff, but instead won the 50/50 Raffle). Little Bear was a hit, he could not have been a better dog. The mods to the car made ripping up the road a razor-sharp, pleasing experience.
