Purely for fun, I'm looking for a book of graphic design and war poster. I'm not really looking for a historical review, but an image based book. Anyone have any titles in their own libraries? hi guys do you know any websites about designs during the vintage or war era?

I'm doing a layout for a recipe and it needs to have a "retro" 50s feel... you know... Betty Crocker, stereotypical housewife, cookbook-y type stuff. I've got a pretty good idea of some novelty fonts I like for the headline, but I'm having a hard time finding a good font for the body text. Where can I find authentic fonts made in the late 60's/early 70's? Myfont.com has a lot of gimmicky, supposed-to-be-retro-but-actually-made-in-2002 fonts, but I want fonts that were actually used and made during that time, if possible.
