Vag Mono opens Wednesday, and after our two runs tonight, and our one invited audience dress tomorrow, we'll be ready. Despite having two folks drop out, having inexperienced or no experience at all actors, and haphazard rehearsals, this show is going to come together and it'll be good.
I finally managed to get my mits on some foam board today, albeit it was twice as expensive at the Barnes and Noble on campus as it would have been at Wal-mart....grrr..but ah well. I was able to get a decent start on my model, I finished my frame and constructed my dock poles....which are utilizing hemp for rope, which I might amusing. Then I attended the first rehearsal I've been to of the 10 minute scene which is performing tomorrow...no biggie on that though, all I do is come act, act a little crazy with my hair all in my face, and then sit in silence for ten minutes. I think I can handle it.
I received my "Shakespeare got to get paid, son" shirt in the mail today, which was awesome possum. It's much bigger than I had anticipated, but Amanda's gonna take it home and see if she can't work some shrinkage magic on it, then we'll don them with pride (she got one as well) for theatre history on Wednesday because we're dorks like that.
The Great McDonald's Heist went along without a hitch. Which is good because after a Wal-mart hunt I concluded that the only place to get authentic McDonalds set props would be to go to the source itself. Walk with a purpose, and nobody stops you, apparently.
For a Monday, not too shabby, not too shabby at all.
