One a.m.
I'm fully awake and ready to start tackling my model for Scene Design but Wal-mart dropped the ball on stocking blk-on-blk foam board. I briefly contemplated creating my model out of bright yellow foam board, but decided that that probably wouldn't cut it. Wal-mart also didn't have any suitable props for my Directing scene, so I came up short there as well. In fact, the only purchase I was able to make was an exacto knife and replacements. Hopefully my instructor purchased extra foam board when he went supplies shopping in Sioux City this weekend (I'm pretty sure he did).
Tech tonight for Vag Mono went well once we actually got started. It took us three hours just to get the damn set figured out, and all it is flats with posters of our faces stapled to it. Oh, and lights needed some tweaking too. But, still, three hours for that? Ugh. But Matt ordered pizza for us and that halted both my tummy and brain grumbling for the time being.
The girl with whom I was partnered for my rape piece "left the production" today. No specifics necessary, suffice it to say it's frustrating because timing and flow is very important for that piece, i.e. rehearsal is necessary. But I'm confident that Shandi (my new partner) will pick it up and we'll still able to be effective.
Profundity escapes me at this point in time.
I really wish Wal-mart had had black on black foam board.
Because all night I was psyching myself up for a late night of model building and now it's come to nothing. And that was the only thing I could conceivably accomplish tonight.
Fan-fuckin' tastic.
Tuckered.
Texas.
There better be a damn good scary movie on AMC right now, that's all I gots to say.
