Dari had been on vacations before. More than she could count, really. But those had been with her parents and with Jay and they really didn't count, not like this one with Tris did. It had been a tough call, but in the end, they'd decided on California. Neither of the had ever been to the States before and the possibility of bumping into hot celebrities (plus, all the shopping!) was just too much to resist.
Right now, the pair of newly graduated young adults were making their way down the streets of a place called "Third Street Promenade." It was a kind of outdoor mall and it was just fantastic. Dari already had an armful of bags filled with purchases.
And now? Now, they they were standing in front of some kind of metal store with a big apple on the front. "What do you think they sell in there?" Dari asked, wrinkling her nose as she peered in the window, looking at cardboard cutouts of people and some kind of.. black and white and silver rectangular things she'd never seen before.
