Warnings: ...who knows? ALSO... I'm putting this up because I know it's needed, but I am going to be SLOW with replies myself (if I do any at all) until next week... so feel free to thread around Darin until then. :) Also, if everyone would like to check out the plot... thanks!
It was past time that Darin had called this meeting. He felt guilty about that -- he'd been distracted by his own life and school and NEWTs and that was not acceptable. This cause was important, and he vowed to himself that he would do better by it from now on.
It had only been a couple days ago that there had been an attack on the school. That worried him, and it pissed him off, too. This school was supposed to be safe, dammit.
Now he was pacing across the Room of Requirement, waiting for everyone else to show up. He wanted to practice some more, to make sure everyone could defend themselves... but this time, in this meeting, he wanted to talk a bit more, too. See if they could figure out something that they could do themselves, because without Dumbledore in the school it was getting harder and harder to feel safe on a day-to-day basis.
