Ellie stood with her twin sister Emma surveying the room as they waited for their guests to arrive. The party had been more Emma's idea, of course ("We need a break from all this crazy studying and we only get to turn seventeen once," she'd whined.), but Ellie had to admit that she was really looking forward to it. She fidgeted a little bit with her skirt, though, still feeling like the Angel costume Emma had talked her into was a bit too short. Sure, it was sexy, but Ellie didn't do sexy. She was 'baby sister' cute and she knew it. Emma was the one who could pull off being actually fun and sexy.
Nevermind that they were identical and looked exactly alike. Whoever said the Gryffindor was logical all of the time?
After a look from her twin, though, she stopped her fidgeting and looked over the refreshments. "Do you think we should have got more food?" she asked nervously, chewing absently on her lower lip as she looked over at the door. Really, it would be better once people started to show up. As much as Ellie didn't really like crowds, at least with people there, she'd be too distracted to worry about things like whether she was showing too much leg or whether they had enough refreshments for everyone who might show up.
