This morning while adding security strips to the new periodicals for PMA, I came across an article in Science News that was all about this mathematician lady who crochets models of hyperbolic planes. The other day I took a stab at playing The Mikado's "Young Man Despair" on my concertina. First it was way too high--I didn't know where some of the notes were, since I'd never been called upon to use them before.
