This morning while adding security strips to the new periodicals for PMA, I came across an
article in Science News that was all about this mathematician lady who crochets models of hyperbolic planes. Now, I can't say I know much about those, but boy do they look nifty, and I think I'm going to learn how to make them, so I bet I'll know a lot more by the time I'm done!

article published in Mathematical Intelligencier, all of which have neat pictures.
They're supposed to be editing a book called Making Mathematics with Needlework, which hasn't come out yet.
