The Britpop Invasion of Hartford
It is a great month for Britpop/Indie in Hartford:
Friday, October 7th - Blocktoberfest at Vaughan's Public House. Shag Frenzy will be spinning between bands starting artound 7pm. Admission is a $5 donation to the Hartford Arts Council. There will be a shuttle to The Rent for the UConn-Syracuse game, plus a great block party on Pratt Street before/during/after the game
Thursday, October 13th - Shag Frenzy is tentatively scheduled to DJ at The Fed for a special guest bartender night with Lush Life...details to follow at shagfrenzy
Saturday, October 15th is Shag Frenzy Indie Disco (Webster Underground) - $5 gives you access to the coolest DJ night in Hartford, and it is 18+. Guest DJs Death in Jim and Tron Reagan will join us in spinning the best britpop, indie, new wave, glam, punk, etc...see flyer below
Wednesday, October 26th - Collage: This Is Not A Party at the Wadsworth Atheneum from 6pm-9pm. Admission price includes beer,martinis, and Red Bull. Buy discounted advance tickets now.
