Well... here I am...
Ach... finally got round to getting new parts for this damnable box. Actually I've been running and online for a bit, but getting everything tweaked just so, getting all the old sites bookmarked and what, not to mention having to remember old passwords... yeah.
Add to that my job is going into the "Special Hell" part of the year. I love my job, I really do, but summer is murder. Case in point... yesterday, even though I was doing nothing more strenuous than riding a tractor around mowing and drinking water at each break, I still managed to get a serious case of dehydration going on. I'm talking skip the getting thirsty stage and going right into the headache stage. I got home and immediately began drinking water until I was literally sick of looking at it and still had a headache. So I laid down at 15 (3pm) and proceeded to sleep until 6. That's 15 hours of sleep, for those mathematically inclined. I woke up with a raging thirst, mad a gallon of tea and promptly drank half.
In other news I've been helping an online friend with some firefly props he's been making. I've been drumming up business for him and whatever we (or he, rather) makes I get a freebie. If you like Firefly, you should definitely check out his site www.fireflyarchive.com for a keek at his collection. So far we've gotten a run of the sherrif badges from the Train Job made, and our next project is going to be screen accurate buckles for the browncoats. He even gave me a couple of screen used banknotes from Serenity for helping him. My very first screenused prop. *sniff* Good fella, that Badger.
Anyhoo, cousin is in town so I have to go play host. Just wanted to finally get around to posting something on here.
