I have a lot of respect for the people of Iran. At a time when most Americans think that the so called "Tea Parties" are giving our government what for proper, these guys in Iran are putting their fucking lives on the line. They're showing up, en masse, for demonstrations against Ahmedinijad, even after 8 of their countrymen have been killed. And that's just the official figures, I read a report the other day allegedly written by a nurse in one of the hospitals who spoke of many many more being killed.
I'd bet my balls to a barndance that as soon as someone got killed at a demonstration here, the crowds would disperse and go back to watching American Idol so quickly, you'd never know they were ever there save for the mountainous pile of crap they'd leave behind.
