Work it, work it! I'm perfect!

Hurrah! For a brief moment, our highly unauthorised internet connection has returned after days of being absent.

Last night I went out to the innocently named "intrepid fox".
On my way, I'd imagined an innocuous pub. Maybe beams. A fire if I was lucky. Ales named "Randy stoat" or "Buxom barmaid". Definitely comfy chair made of aged leather and brass.

This is not what I got.
There were goths. Shouting. Skulls. More shouting. A distinct lack of colour. Bar maids rocking out to indistinguishable screams.
To say it was a disappointment would not even begin to describe the situation.

On the bright side, it was nice to see Nicole in a location that was within the zone 1 area. Also, I finally figured out who were flat mate reminded me of last time I met her: my Aunt. And now that I've figured that out, it's really uncanny.

Oh and conversations similar to the following:

"oh HI!! How are you? You look amazing!!"
"um... hi....."
"It's so nice to see Falmouth people again!!!!!!!!!"
"... ..... yeah, sorry, what's your name again"
oh the hilarity!!

Then we went onto the Mean Fiddler and I was struck my crippling nostaglia for Frog.
I am sad that Frog died. Even if it was about 2 years later than Frog should have died.
I often wonder what would have happened if they hadn't gotten rid of the Artrocker room.... .... ?
RRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrribbit.

Although I may have had my doubts when I was 14, I'm definitely sure that I am not a goth.

(on a side note, I'm watching the 4Music:Dragonette program and there was a video of them playing live. The lead singer was wearing this amazing rubber number and now I think I have a bit of a girl crushy crush on her.)
