This episode had some good ideas and good direction, however it also had rushed and mediocre writing. Like you I felt nothing when Hawkman died in fact I was yelling at the screen for him to die already. I also felt that Clark barely had a presence in this episode however thats Genevieve Sparling for you. The Chlo-Lo I won't even lie I fast forward though that because I do not have time for a phony relationship watching that Phoniness with Oliver and Clark's relationship is enough. Clark really has no male friends at all. I wished he asked Chloe whenever she comes back to stand next to him it makes as much sense as Oliver ( ... )

I've always been a bit meh on Carter in SV for some reason, aside from his scenes with Oliver. Not sure why, but there you have it.
