As in, second in Ticket to Ride (lost by 4 points), second in Stone Age (lost by 2 points), second in Settlers of Cataan, two seconds in Can't Stop and a second in a new game, Isla Dorada. I seem to have had a wee bit of a pattern today. Losing TTR stung, but the others were plusses. Also learned 3 4 new games (bought one; entered a drawing for one ( Read more... )

I really wish there was an active gaming group closer than 2-3 hours away....

There's an Eastern PA Gaming group at this con, perhaps there's something around Philly? And GCOM has events in Delaware.

Delaware is still 75-90 mins at least depending on where. Have to check the EPA grp tho.

See if you can get any info on the Eastern PA group?

No luck on PA, attendance was way down today and I didn't run into anyone from that group. I did have a nice conversation with a gentleman who runs some games in DE, including some all-train conventions. He's part of GCOM. I'll keep an ear out for anything else.
