Anyone see the latest Starry Sky episodes, and think the animation artwork looks different? Starting with episode 15, it just looks different to me, but I am not sure why...the lines seem more delicate, and some of the colors seem off. Maybe I'm just seeing things,

I'm very glad I sat through the less interesting parts of the first season of Tegami Bachi to get to the second season, Tegami Bachi REVERSE. There are many story questions embedded to keep you interested in what's going to happen next. It has just the right amount of complexity and plot twists aplenty. There's probably a name for this phenomenon in Japanese...where the weapon user calls out the name or their weapon before they use it? Surely you've seen this...like Lag Seeing hollering "Akabari!" before firing his shindan in Tegami Bachi, and pretty much all the exorcists in D. Gray-man do this sort of thing, too. I saw a couple people on my flist are watching Starry Sky and so I checked it out yesterday. Talk about pupil-dilating bishie overload! I am not sure how much plot or character development this thing is really going to have, considering it is only going to be 13 ten-minute episodes. But I'm mostly in it for the eye candy.

( And the coolest school uniforms I've ever seen. )

So the official US release of the Pandora Hearts anime DVD comes with an official Art Book. But there's also a Japanese "Pandora Hearts Official Guide" that I just got in my hands last week (I am so lucky to live in the city with the largest Japanese bookstore in the country). Funniest Episode
Actually I really don’t find this anime to be very funny. For humor, I’d have to turn to the omakes. Even better, the crack subs. But for now I give you THIS.

Saddest Episode
When Oz confronted Phillipe’s father it was pretty darn heartbreaking. I believe that was episode 10.

I think if they ever make a season two and we get to see the current story arc animated, it could easily replace that scene though, at least for me. Because by this point in the story of the manga, I've been made to care so much about ( Read more... )
