Winter holidays

I'm so blissfully happy right now.

It's Christmas eve. Its snowing. There's an inch and a half of snow on the ground that pops like bubble wrap when you walk on it.

The Jimmy Buffet Birthday Party last night was an hilariously good time. I set up a photo booth with props, silly hats, and a nice background. The pictures I have are priceless! Nancy and I were both a couple of drinks over our usual limit, and everyone had had enough margaritas and pina coladas to be giggly.

The fir tree downstairs is glowing with lights and has gifts under it. Tomorrow we'll go to the Flower House for games and dinner and snuggling.

The solstice ceremony on Thursday brought me deep insight and new inspiration. I'm ready to let go of some things that are ending and begin new things. Time to turn outward.

I have partners who support me and encourage my dreams. I am wildly in love with someone new and deeply in love with my husband. The "honeymoon phase" has worn of with Songaia and I am still very certain that this is the right place for me to put down roots and belong for the rest of my life.

My house contains a sleeping cat and a sleeping son, both of whom like to cuddle with me. My bed is full of stuffed animals, my cupboards are full of food, and my shelves are full of books.
