Autograph
Best idea I've had all week: have Steve Perry, lead singer and driving force behind Cherry Poppin' Daddies, autograph my dress!
The concert was fantastic! The disappointment was that the venue had no dance floor, despite saying we should come prepared to dance. It was a small auditorium with seats right up to the stage. That did mean our 3rd row seats were amazing! The three of us got permission to dance in the wide aisle midway up the auditorium, though, so that was fun. I had worn a cute 50's era dress with cherries on it, in honor of the occasion. Near the end of the concert I had a flash of inspiration that required a sharpie. Steve Perry is funny and charming and totally someone I'd want to hang out with. (I'd go on a date with him, too. Damn that man can dance!) He complimented my dress when we went to buy a CD, and was delighted when I asked him to autograph it.
