Man, John Amplas was dreamy when he was younger. Martin was made in 1977 and it works so well partly because of his pretty face -- he looks positively angelic.
Approaching Hallowe'en is getting to me -- I have been watching a lot of silly/scary movies lately. Yesterday Isaac and I sat on the plinth outside Widener library and quoted from the Addams Family movies at each other; this morning i couldn't get to sleep till 5AM, so, being too stupid-tired to work, I watched Resident Evil. The score for that movie is remarkable -- especially the
main theme. I've been listening to it all day, it's so well done -- it just gives me the chills.
I was going to be Wednesday Addams for Hallowe'en, but a friend is realising my long-cherished ambition this year. Fall-back costume is Nancy Downs: (the actress's name is Fairuza Balk; yes, her eyes really are that colour...)
