I love Passover, but I hate the month before. The cleaning and the stress of "I should be cleaning, but I have homework/work/laundry/dinner/cats/Rock of Love/exhaustion." I've gotten some of the shopping done, but we'll be in Michigan the weekend before the holiday for my husband's cousin's wedding (sigh) and the Monday and Tuesday nights before I have class. So everything has to get sone this weekend/the second half of next week. And I have a midterm in Corporate Finance on Monday. And I'm hosting my first seder on the second night. [Deep Breath] But I'll get it done. I always do. I'm never sure how, but it'll work.
There's been a lot of travelling, and there promises to be a lot more. We were in Israel in January, and then London at the beginning of March. April has Michigan (wedding) Boston (Torsten says I misunderstood, his friend actually lives in Providence) (birthday party) and Baltimore (wedding). We expect to have a niece/nephew born in May (fingers crossed) in Taiwan, so we'll see whether when that happens we go to Taiwan of if they come to New York or Texas. I'm trying not to plan too much farther ahead than that.
I'm winning an award at work, and I'll probably post more about it at some point, but right now I'm just overwhelmed by the prospect, and it'll have to wait.
This incoherent and disjointed post is brought to you by the letters T, I, R, E, and D, and the number "I want to go back to bed."
