Welp, interesting day.
I should be bread boarding the Really Small Processor right now, or doing Math problems... But, I'm writing this instead. Waiting for Ayo to get out of class, feeling good about the cluster and generally happy all round. I had a session with one of my students, and then we had lunch afterwords. C++ code got done fairly quickly, but it's been a little while since I played with MIPS and they are using a different simulator that does I/O differently.

The Really Small Processor now has some of the control signals hooked up, and the components are in place. I just don't like doing the wiring because I'm so anal about it and have to recut pieces all the time because I'm not satisfied with how they lay on the board. I want to kick butt in the class, but I keep making silly mistakes on the pre-lab quizes and the like.
Boe is doing well... I want to get my computer set up again soon so that I can write the program to read the output from the RF reciever so that I can switch from code to RC with a flip of a (toggle) switch from the remote. I also would love that because then I could power The Really Small Processor with the Vss from Boe. Although I think I would start going through batteries too quickly.
Website is being neglected... But I'm getting more hits because of it... Go fig! I'm slowly working on the newest version, the problem is I never have time, and when I do I waste it.... like I am now.

My best friend, Ayo, has a crush on another friend of mine, but due to religion he wouldn't be allowed to date her ever (she'd be disowned). 'tis alright though, I don't think he'd have the guts to tell her anyway. I think she likes her back, and they do spend a lot of time talking and studying together; and they seem happy at that... So, I suppose "it's all good."
We'll, Ayo and I, be getting together for Smallville as has become tradition, and I think Dani is coming over to watch. Shall be fun. Looking for something to do with Dani this weekend, was thinking about a movie but we'll see. Maybe I can call on an old favor get comps to see a symphony or play. Who knows. Hmmm... Crucible or the DREAMY Hilary Hahn... HMmmmm, maybe both... We'll see how it all works out.
